Full-time Position in English, Open Fields, Associate Professor or above (NTNU)

The Department of Industrial Education at National Taiwan Normal University, Taipei, Taiwan invites applications for the following full-time position in Technological and Vocational Education, Education or Psychology:

Full-time Professor or Associate Professor in English with a doctoral degree in Technological and Vocational Education, Education or Psychology fields.

The applicant must have obtained his/her doctoral degree by the time of application and taught in English, familiar with EMI (English as a Medium of Instruction) guidelines and with upper intermediate (CFR B2) English efficiency or above. All applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria:

  1. Have published two articles in the journals indexed in SCI, SSCI, SSCIE, TSSCI, EI, A&HCI, THCI (formerly known as THCI Core) with first or corresponding authorship in the past three years.
  2. Have received grants for at least two research projects from the Ministry of Science and Technology in Taiwan in the past three years as the principal investigator.
  3. Have been granted at least one national or international utility patent or have won international competition awards annually on average in the past three years.
  4. Have received grants for at least one research project in Academic TDP, Industry’s Special Project or Industry-University Cooperative Research Project in the past three years as the principal investigator with proof of achievements provided.
  5. Exceptional performances in the industry (applicable to professional technicians) with proof of achievements provided.

*Only research achievements between June. 31, 2020 and July. 31, 2023 will be recognized as results collected in the past three years (including journal articles accepted within this period and certificated to be published).

  2. Photocopy of the doctoral degree diploma and transcript. (If the degree was granted by a university outside of R.O.C., both documents should be verified by the R.O.C. embassies, consulates, or missions abroad.)
  3. Certificated documents of MOST Research Projects (which can be downloaded from the website of the MOST.)
  4. Proof of research achievements and academic publications (the cover of the PhD dissertation, tables of contents, the abstract, photocopies of prizes or honors, the cover of publications, etc.)
  5. Two letters of recommendation regarding your working ethics, studying attitudes, personal relationships and moral sense.
  6. Any documents which can provide additional information about the applicant’s background and qualification is welcomed, such as teaching experiences, etc.

  2. Except for the recommendation letters, all application materials should be bound and sent through registered mail to the Department of Industrial Education, NTNU before July. 31, 2023 (the postmark will serve as a proof).
